Mixed Pancit

- 6 ounces bean thread noodles shopping list
- 1 cup cooked pork thinly sliced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 medium onion sliced shopping list
- 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 3 celery stalks thinly sliced diagonally shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups carrots thinly sliced shopping list
- 3 cups cabbage thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Soak bean thread noodles in water until soft then drain and cut into 6” length with scissors.
- Cook noodles in seasoned broth and 1 tablespoon soy sauce until liquid has been absorbed.
- Stir carefully during cook until noodles are done then set aside.
- In a nonstick large pan over medium heat sauté garlic in oil until lightly browned.
- Add onion then stir 1 minute.
- Add pork chicken, celery, carrots, cabbage, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and a little salt and pepper.
- Simmer 8 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Combine cooked noodles with meat and vegetable mixture.
- Stir carefully taking care not to mash noodles until well blended then serve warm.
