Jeans Chicken Vesuois Recipe
This bacon wrapped chicken was a big hit back in West Virginia. It's easy prepared a day ahead. Just bring to room temperature before baking the next day.

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 or 4 slices bacon (you decide whether you want a whole or half slice wrapped around)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup bread crumbs, very fine
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesa cheese

Directions
  1. Roll up each chicken piece
  2. Wrap a strip or half strip of bacon around the roll, securing with a toothpick.
  3. Mix together bread crumbs and cheese.
  4. Beat eggs and seasonings tog.
  5. Dip chicken roll in egg mixture, then roll in bread crumbs and parmesan mixture.
  6. Put in a baking dish and cover with foil or wrap in foil and put on cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, for about 1 hour or until done.
  8. Run under broiler to brown slighlty if necessary.
