Cream Cheese Brownie Pie Recipe
CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Webb Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1987.

Ingredients
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust softened as directed on package
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 15 ounce package thick and fudgy hot fudge swirl deluxe brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Prepare pie crust as directed on package for one crust filled pie using 9” pie pan.
  3. Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and 1 of the eggs then beat until smooth and set aside.
  4. Reserve hot fudge packet from brownie mix for topping.
  5. Combine brownie mix, oil, 1 tablespoon water and eggs then beat 50 strokes with spoon.
  6. Spread 1/2 cup brownie mixture in bottom of crust lined pan.
  7. Spoon and carefully spread cream cheese mixture over brownie layer.
  8. Top with remaining brownie mixture and spread evenly then sprinkle with pecans.
  9. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  10. Place hot fudge from packet in small microwave safe bowl then heat on high for 30 seconds.
  11. Stir in remaining tablespoon water then drizzle fudge over top of pie.
  12. Cool 3 hours or until completely cooled then store in refrigerator.
