Stuffed Baked Chicken Breast Recipe
My Grandmother used to make this dish on cold winter days. However you can make this any time of the year.

  • 6 split bone in chicken breast skin left on
  • 1box of chicken flavored stove top stuffing
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. wash and dry chicken breast set aside
  3. Make the stuffing according to package directions set aside
  4. Take chicken breast and slice into the breast between the meat and the rib bone from the tenderloin side. Do not slice all the way through.
  5. Repeat for each of the chicken breast.
  6. With a tablespoon, take the stuffing mix and stuff each breast with the stuffing mix. Try to get as much as possible into each breast.
  7. Sprinkle each breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  8. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up.
  9. Place the chicken breasts on the cookie sheet and place into the oven.
  10. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until the juice from the breast runs clear.
  11. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes.
  12. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
