Apricot Barbecue Sauce

- 1/4 Cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 Small onion,finely chopped shopping list
- 1 package (6oz) dried apricots shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1/2 Cup ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 Cup water shopping list
- 1/4 Cup red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground oregano shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce(do not over do) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
How to make it
- In a large saucepan,combine oil and onion.
- Saute onion,stirring occasionally until soft.
- In blender or food processor fitted with the steel blade.
- Process apricots and sugar until finely chopped.
- Stir apricot mixture and remaining ingredients into onion mixture.
- Bring to a boil,and boil for 3 to 5 minutes,stirring occasionally until sauce thickens.
- Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
- Serve Warm with meat.
