Ingredients
  • 3 Cups all-purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 4 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seed,crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1-1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Picante Sauce

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees:
  2. In a large bowl,combine first 7 ingredients.
  3. In a medium bowl,whisk together remaining ingredients.
  4. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients,stir (just)until batter is moist.
  5. Pour batter evenly into 3 greased 3x5-1/2" loaf pans.
  6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pans 10 minutes,then turn onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
  9. Bread may be served at room temperature or warm.
  10. To reheat:preheat oven to 350 degrees.Bake uncovered on a ungreased baking sheet 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through.
  11. Makes 3 loaves of bread

I like the idea of this a lot. We do a recipe with pita tha has cumin and olive oil backed into it... Cumin is one of my favorite spices... Thanks... Jim
