Orange Scented Hot Chocolate

ORANGE SCENTED HOT CHOCOLATE This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Corrigan Estate in Justin, Texas in 1992.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate chopped shopping list
- 3 slices orange peel shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon instant espresso powder shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in heavy medium saucepan then stir over low heat until chocolate melts.
- Increase heat and bring to boil stirring often then remove from heat and whisk until frothy.
- Return to heat and bring to boil again then remove from heat and whisk again.
- Discard orange peel then pour hot chocolate into mugs.
