How to make it

  • Salt and pepper both sides of the fish and fry in the oil for approx. 3 minutes on each side or just until fish starts to flake(DO NOT over-cook!)
  • Mix next 6 ingreds. together and slather onto bun bottoms.
  • Top each with cooked fish.
  • Divide cheese among fillets.
  • Place under the broiler just to melt the cheese.
  • Place bun lids on top.
  • Serve up with LOTS of napkins and enjoy!

    Oh yeah!!!! My daughter's boyfriend is a fifth generation fisherman and he does the mayo and cheese combo for us and it is delish. I can see this as a "BUMPED up a Notch" version. YUMMY. Great post.
