How to make it

  • Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  • Dice apples and sprinkle with lemon juice to retain color.
  • Bring juice to a boil, carefully add eggs.
  • Add flour, sugar, and butter and boil again to thicken.
  • Stir well.
  • Let cool.
  • Add pineapple, diced apples, and pecans.
  • Stir well.
  • Chill and serve.
