How to make it

  • Cut each fillet into two and put aside
  • Heat oil in a medium shallow pan.
  • Add in the mashed ingredients (onion, garlic and dry prawn) and chilli paste.
  • Stir occasionally until there is no more acces water (you can see the oil separated from the other ingredients)
  • Add in tomatoes and cover. Stir occasionally for 10 minutes or until tomatoes really cooked.
  • Pour in the water and bring to boil.
  • Add in the fillet. Stir occasionally and bring to boil.
  • Add the vietnamese basil, stir and season to taste.
  • Keep it boil in medium heat for 5 minutes before turn down the stove.
