Sausage Gravy And Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package beef or pork sausage links
  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup 2-percent milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 buttermilk biscuits, warm

Directions
  1. In a medium skillet, brown sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink --
  2. Break links into small pieces while cooking.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, stir in flour.
  4. Cook and stir 2 minutes.
  5. Slowly whisk in evaporated milk and 2-percent milk.
  6. Continue cooking until desired thickness.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve gravy over warm biscuits.
