Bachelors Quiche Recipe
Gawd awful simple. A single man who can't cook will starve to death. This recipe will feed you for at least 5 days. If you can't cook, then get a GIRLFRIEND !!!

Ingredients
  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 6 strips cooked bacon, broken into bits (Don't use imitation junk)
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 3 whole eggs, minus shells. EGG SUBSTITUTE O.K.
  • dash of sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • dash of Cayenne pepper

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Toaster oven OK - just make sure heating is on "Bake".
  2. Thaw pie crust.
  3. Sprinkle bacon bits over pie crust - press some into crust.
  4. Spread grated cheese on top of the bacon.
  5. Beat eggs well (use either electric gizmo or handheld Whisk).
  6. Then add Cream, seasoning, Nutmeg & Cayenne pepper to eggs.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Pour into pie crust.
  9. Place in oven, bake for 30 minutes.
  10. It should be Golden Brown when done.
  11. Remove from oven & let cool on a Cooling Rack for approx. 10 minutes.
  12. Cut into wedges like a pie and enjoy. TASTES BEST WHEN HOT.
  13. ALTERNATIVE: Mix it up by placing your favorite veggies cut into bit sized pieces into the top half of the egg mixture before baking. Just sprinkle it on.

YOU....have this "Quiche" nailed!!!!
This is the "REAL Thing"....I have made many Quiches in my time....and this is the Best recipe to use...it is a "Classic"..."5"FORK!!!!!
