Baked Halibut With Zucchini Topping Recipe

Ingredients

2 Alaskan Halibut filets

1/3 cup breadcrumbs + some for the bottom of pan

1 small zucchini

1/2 stick Butter

Old Bay Seasoning

Salt

Pepper

Directions

Thaw halibut if frozen

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Shred 1 small zucchini in food processor

Melt the butter and pour about 1/2 in the bottom of an ovenproof pan or dish with a very slight dusting of breadcrumbs.

Mix the rest of the breadcrumbs with the shredded zucchini

Place halibut in pan

Top with the breadcrumb mixture

season with salt, pepper, and a few sprinkles of Old Bay Seasoning

Pour the rest of the butter over the fish

Bake in a 450 oven for about 10 minutes. More for thicker pieces.

Remove from oven and serve.

If desired, you can place under a broiler for a minute to crust up the topping a bit, but be careful not to overcook the fish
