Creamy Orange Ricotta Tart

- 1c vanilla cookie crumbs shopping list
- 2T sugar shopping list
- 3T unsalted butter, melted shopping list
- 11/2c whole-milk ricotta shopping list
- 3oz cream cheese, at room temp. shopping list
- 3/4c sugar shopping list
- 2T flour shopping list
- 1/4tsp salt shopping list
- 3 large egg yolks shopping list
- 1T orange flavored liqueur such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau shopping list
How to make it
- CRUST: Melt butter in microwave and mix into cookie crumbs and sugar. Press onto bottom and up sides of a 9" tart pan. Bake in a 350F oven until fragrant about 10 mins. Set aside to cool.
- FILLING:Combine cream cheese and ricotta in a medium bowl and beat on med. speed until well blended. Add the sugar, flour and salt; blend well. Add the egg yolks, orange zest and orange liqueur. Beat until just incorporated. Scrape filling into crust and spread the filling evenly.
- Bake the tart until the filling just barely jiggles, 30-35 mins. Cool completely on rack. Refrigerate the tart in the pan until firm, 2-3 hours.
