Grapes were first cultivated near northern Iran between the Black and Caspian Seas around 6000 B.C. The Phoenicians first brought grapevines to Greece between 2000 and 10000 B.C. This simple dessert combines grapes and orange flavorings.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups seedless grapes
  • 1/2 cup PLUS 2 teaspoons orange flavored liquer, divided use
  • 2 tablespoons granuated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1/2 cup heavey cream

Directions
  1. Combine grapes, the 1/4 cup orange liquer, the sugar and orange zest; mix well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
