Tuna Casserole Recipe

Tuna Casserole Recipe
My college roommate used to make this for us all the time, and I had to beg her for the recipe when we moved :) This casserole is creamy and delicious - the taste of tuna is very subtle. I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
  • 6-8 oz. noodles
  • 6-8 oz. can tuna
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup diced celery (I don't like celery, so I substitute this with green peas)
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions (you can also add chopped green pepper, mushrooms, or anything else you want)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 10-oz. can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6-8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds parmessan cheese

Directions
  1. Cook and drain noodles.
  2. Combine noodles, tuna, mayo, celery, onions and other veggies, if used, in big bowl.
  3. Blend soup and milk and pepper in pan.
  4. Add cheese and heat until cheese is melted. Add to other mixture.
  5. Put in casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese (more cheddar and parmessan)
  6. Top with slivered almonds.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 425.
