Penut Brittle

- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup All-Purpos Flower shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teasopoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 325.F and grease a large cookie sheet
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy
- Add eggs and Vanilla and mix well
- Graduially sift in remaining fry ingredients
- MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS MIXED THROUGHLY!
- Make the dough into balls about the size of a golf ball
- SPLAT the dough balls 2 inces apart throuout the prepared cookie sheet
- DONT LEAVE ANY GAPS OF SPACE- USE THE WHOLE COOKIE SHEET
- Place the cookie sheet on the LAST RACK and "bake" for 16-17 min
- When the brittle comes out of the oven, immediatly cut it into 2x2 pieces but do not remove from the cookie sheet
- Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 5 min or until cool and brittle
- Sprinkle nuts on top
