Mustard Chicken Variation 1 Recipe
I make different variations of this recipe. I love the flavor of mustard, and my hubbster just devours this on sight. I'm not quite sure where I got this one.

Ingredients
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1/2 c chopped onions
  • 1/4 c + 2 tbsp dijon or spicy mustard
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 (or more) Tabasco
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 1/2 lb chicken, cut into pieces (or equivalent in dark meat)
  • 1 tsp herbes de provence or dried thyme
  • chopped fresh parsley

Directions
  1. Combine first six ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Heat olive oil in a deep fying pan or dutch oven. Sprinkle herbs. Fry chicken until golden.
  3. Add mustard mixture and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove chicken from pan. Boil the leftover liquid to a thick sauce.
  5. Serve chicken topped with sauce and garnish with parsley.
