Prawn Thermidor

- 18 pcs Black Tiger prawns shopping list
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped shopping list
- 2 cups canned champignons or button mushrooms, minced shopping list
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 cup white onions, minced shopping list
- 1/2 pound butter shopping list
- White Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup All-purpose cream shopping list
- 1 tbsp minced white onions shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- Dash of salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Butterfly prawns using sharp knife or scissors.
- Scoop meat out carefully leaving the head intact.
- Chop meat finely and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, add onions, champignons, chopped prawns, parsley and sauté until prawns turn pink . Put 1 tbsp of this mixture in each shell.
- Top with breadcrumbs, whitesauce and grated cheese.
- Bake until shells turn red-orange. Occasionally check if meat is moist and tender.
