Olive Oil Dip

- 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbs fresh basil, minced shopping list
- 1 tbs fresh Italian parsley, minced shopping list
- 1 tbs fresh garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp thyme shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp Fresh rosemary, minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt shopping list
- 2 tbs apple cider vinegar (or use balsamic vinegar or lemon juice) shopping list
- 2 tbs red wine (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmigiano-reggiano cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Two ways to create this dip: Either mix together all ingredients in oil except parmigiano cheese. Let stand for at least 20 minutes. Add cheese by stirring in oil mixture before serving,
- Another way is to blend all herbs and spices in a blender adding a little oil until you create a paste. In a separate shallow dish, put around 5 tbs of olive oil and 1 tsp of vinegar. Add 2 tsp of mixed herbs and stir in parmigiano cheese.
