Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Butter,softened
  • 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar,firmly packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-2/3 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Rolled Oats,uncooked
  • 1 Cup Gumdrops,cut up(I use a little more)
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts,chopped

Directions
  1. In bowl,cream butter gradually add brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix together flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt.
  4. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in oats,gumdrops and nuts.
  6. Drop by cookie scoop onto buttered cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 to 14 minutes.
  8. Remove to cookie rack to cool.
  9. Makes about 5 to 6 dozen cookies
