Beef and Peanut Stir-fry

- 2T peanut oil shopping list
- 500g beef rump steak, trimmed and thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 onion cut into wedges shopping list
- 1tsp finely grated ginger shopping list
- 1 bunch baby pak choy, leaves separated shopping list
- 1 carrot, cut into small matchsticks shopping list
- 150g button mushrooms, halved shopping list
- 2T soy sauce shopping list
- 1T oyster sauce shopping list
- 1T hoi sin sauce shopping list
- 1T chilli sauce shopping list
- 1/3c peanuts, toasted shopping list
- thin hokkien noodles or rice to serve shopping list
How to make it
- Heat half the oil in a wok or large frying pan on high. Stir-fry beef in 2 batches for 1-2mins. until browned. Set aside.
- Heat remaining oil in wok on high. Stir-fry onion and ginger for 1 min.
- Add remaining vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 mins. until tender.
- Return meat to wok with combined sauces and peanuts. Stir-fry until heated through. Serve on noodles or rice.
- **Add a little sesame oil for added flavour at the end of cooking.
