Beef And Peanut Stir-fry Recipe
Stir-frys are a quick, easy and healthy meal....the whole family loves this one so I make it quite often.

Ingredients
  • 2T peanut oil
  • 500g beef rump steak, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion cut into wedges
  • 1tsp finely grated ginger
  • 1 bunch baby pak choy, leaves separated
  • 1 carrot, cut into small matchsticks
  • 150g button mushrooms, halved
  • 2T soy sauce
  • 1T oyster sauce
  • 1T hoi sin sauce
  • 1T chilli sauce
  • 1/3c peanuts, toasted
  • thin hokkien noodles or rice to serve

Directions
  1. Heat half the oil in a wok or large frying pan on high. Stir-fry beef in 2 batches for 1-2mins. until browned. Set aside.
  2. Heat remaining oil in wok on high. Stir-fry onion and ginger for 1 min.
  3. Add remaining vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 mins. until tender.
  4. Return meat to wok with combined sauces and peanuts. Stir-fry until heated through. Serve on noodles or rice.
  5. **Add a little sesame oil for added flavour at the end of cooking.
