Candy Bar Brownies

These are the best brownies I have had in a long time. I took a basic brownie recipe and tweaked it a little bit since I love hershey and snickers bars. Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter at room temp. (it will be a stick and a half) shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs - beaten shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour (all purpose) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 4 snicker bars chopped shopping list
- 4 Hershey Bars chopped fine shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 (325 for convection)
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder
- Fold in the snickers bars
- Transfer the batter into a prepared 13X9 pan (either with vegetable spray or flour and butter)
- Sprinkle chopped up hershey bars on top
- Bake for 30-35 min or 17-20 if using a convection oven.
- Let cool before cutting.
- Yields 18 large or 24 small brownies
