Peach Foldup Tart

- peach Foldup Tart shopping list
- 3 cups sliced fresh California peaches shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 Tbs fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 sheet prepared puff pastry dough, 10x16 inches and 1/4 inch thick, thawed shopping list
- 1 Tbs unsalted butter, cut into small pieces shopping list
- 1 Preheat an oven to 375F. shopping list
- 2 In a bowl, combine the peaches, sugar and flour and toss to mix. Add the lemon juice and stir to combine. shopping list
- 3 On a floured work surface roll out the puff pastry into a 15-inch round about 1/4 inch thick. shopping list
- 4 Place the pastry on an ungreased baking sheet and spoon the peaches into the center, leaving about 2 inches uncovered around the perimeter. The fruit will be stacked high but will reduce in volume as it cooks. shopping list
- 5 Fold the uncovered edges of the pastry up to cover as much of the fruit as possible, pinching and tucking the dough as necessary. shopping list
- 6 Dot the top of the fruit with the butter pieces. shopping list
- 7 Bake until the pastry is puffed and golden brown, about 30 minutes. Do not undercook. shopping list
- 8 Serve hot, cut into wedges. shopping list
