MEXICAN BEEF BURGERS This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hunter Estate in Saginaw, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
  • 2 small cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef

Directions
  1. Mix together everything except beef then add beef and mix well.
  2. Make into patties and grill 15 minutes turning once.
  3. Serve with your favorite condiments on a toasted bun.
