LIME MUSTARD This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hunter Estate in Saginaw, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3/4 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons lime juice

Directions
  1. Blend all ingredients except egg yolks and allow to stand 2 hours.
  2. Beat egg yolks, lime peel and lime juice into mixture.
  3. Cook stirring constantly over hot but not boiling water until slightly thickened.
  4. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to one month.
