How to make it

  • Cube the meat 3/4 inch pieces.
  • Stir the onions in the lard over low heat until golden yellow.
  • Removed the pot from the heat.(need to walsh the meat .)
  • Add meat,salt,vegeta,black pepper,and 1/2 cup water.
  • Returne to heat and simmer,about 1 1/2 hour, add the paprika
  • and rest of the water,when meat is tender the dish is done.
  • Yuo can serve immedtately or also reheat when needed.
  • Can be serve with noodles or mash potatoes.

    I see a lot of Hungarian Goulash recipes on this site but with you being a True Hungarian lady, I'll take your word for making it truely Hungarian.
