How to make it

  • dice potatoes and chop onion
  • place in large pot and add water just to cover
  • drop in 2 bouillons
  • add butter adn bring to a boil
  • dice turkey ham (if not using already diced ham)
  • when potatoes come to a boil, add ham
  • continue to boil until potatoes are done
  • add can milk, stirring
  • fill rest of pot with milk (may take more or less depending on pot size)
  • add salt and pepper to taste
  • let simmer until soup is hot, but not boiling
  • **sometimes I use 1 pint of whipping cream instead of can milk for a richer, creamier soup**
