Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb hamburger; or 2 lbs
  • 4 slices bread; torn up in pieces
  • 1/2 cup milk; poured over bread pieces
  • 1/2 tsp each, salt and pepper
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 box gravy mix; or canned gravy

Directions
  1. Soak bread in milk, add to meat, as well as spices and egg (slightly
  2. beaten), mix well and form into patties.
  3. Brown patties in frying pan. Then add gravy (should have 2-3 cups) and
  4. simmer until done.
