This is what happened when I wanted some spaghetti but didn't have a jar of sauce. I just threw this together and it was delish!!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes with basil
  • 1 jar marinated whole mushrooms
  • 1 jar roasted red peppers
  • 1 or 2 large onions, cut into large pieces
  • 1/2 - 1 can whole black olives (depending on preference)
  • italian seasoning
  • oregano
  • garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 box spaghetti noodles

Directions
  1. In large pot, combine tomato sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions, black olives, and spices over medium heat
  2. in separate pot, brown hamburger meat and drain well
  3. add meat to other mixture
  4. **sample to see if more spices are needed**
  5. allow to simmer 1 hour
  6. *freezes and thaws great*
  7. **IDEAS FOR LEFT OVERS**
  8. *layer noodles and meat in casserole dish and top with cheese. bake until heated through and cheese is melted*
  9. **slice bagels in half, spoon some spaghetti sauce on each half, cover with cheese and bake until heated through and cheese is melted**
