Leche Flan Recipe
Leche flan is very popular in the Philippines especially in festivities.

Ingredients
  • 10 egg yolks
  • 1 big can condense milk
  • 1 big can evaporated milk
  • 6 teaspoons sugar syrup (6 tbsp sugar dilluted in 1 1/2 tbsp water)

Directions
  1. Line the pan/mold with sugar syrup
  2. Mix condense milk, evaporated milk and egg yolks well. Mix gently to eliminate bubbles.
  3. Strain with the the use of a cloth for it not to have lumps while pouring that batter to the pan.
  4. Cover with foil.
  5. Steam for 30mins when using electric steamer and 40mins when using stove/burner.
  6. Cool.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (refrigerating it for a day will make the leche flan creamier - RECOMMENDED.
