Marinated Grilled Rib Eye Steaks Recipe
These steaks are so tasty that you don't have to use any steak sauce, which for me is unusual. I serve with cooking bag rice and drizzle the sauce over the rice. Yummy!

Ingredients
  • 2 rib eye steaks
  • Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 red pepper, very thinly sliced/chopped
  • Sauce for Rice:
  • 1/4 C. soy sauce
  • 1/4 C. sliced green onions
  • 2 T. packed brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 red pepper, very thinly sliced/chopped

Directions
  1. Steaks/Marinade:
  2. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper.
  3. Add the steaks.
  4. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  5. Drain and discard marinade.
  6. Grill steaks as you like them or use the Forman grill.
  7. Rice with sauce:
  8. In small saucepan stir soy sauce, green onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper. Heat to boiling and reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Make 1 or 2 cooking bags of white rice.
  10. Top rice with sauce to your taste.
