How to make it

  • Steaks/Marinade:
  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper.
  • Add the steaks.
  • Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • Drain and discard marinade.
  • Grill steaks as you like them or use the Forman grill.
  • Rice with sauce:
  • In small saucepan stir soy sauce, green onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and pepper. Heat to boiling and reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Make 1 or 2 cooking bags of white rice.
  • Top rice with sauce to your taste.
