Ingredients

• 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced

• 1/2 medium onion, sliced or diced, as desired

• 1 lb ground chuck

• 1/4 cup water

• salt and pepper to taste

• aluminum foil, in 8 inch lengths

Directions

Add water to ground beef and mix well. Add potatoes, onion and seasoning. Mix well. Separate into 3-4 servings. Wrap in double-thickness aluminum foil. Place seam side up on medium hot grill for 40 minutes, rotating periodically. Do not flip. Open carefully. Serve

We like to camp and this is a great idea! With the individual packets you can add bell peppers or other spices to suit that person. No bickering, how nice! Yummy too!

I MAKE THESE ALL THE TIME. I AM NOT A CAMPER! i MAKE MY HAMBURGER PATTIES LIKE MY FAVORITE FAVORITE MEATLOAF. I USE A PACKAGE OF FROZEN MIXED VEGETABLES AND SLICE POTATOES. LAY ONE PATTY A HANDFUL OF POTATOES AND A HANDFUL OF VEGGIES ON A SQUARE OF TIN FOIL TAKE ANOTHER SQUARE AND LAY ON TOP OF THAT PINCH THE EDGES THROW IN 350 OVEN FOR 1 HOUR AND THE JUICE FLOW TOGETHER FOR A WONDERFUL FLAVOR. EASY CLEAN UP AND THE KIDS THINK THEY ARE FUN. I HAVE EVEN USED CHICKEN BREAST AND PORKCHOPS IN PLACE OF THE HAMBURGER
