Quick Raisin Bread Pudding

- 3 slices raisin bread shopping list
- butter or margarine shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 13 oz. evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/3 c. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Toast bread and spread with butter.
- Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes and divide among six 6 oz. custard cups.
- Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Stir in milk and 1 cup boiling water.
- Pour mixture over toast.
- Place custard cups in electric skillet; fill with hot water to within 1/2 inch of top of cups.
- Over high heat, heat water just to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until knife inserted in certer comes out clean.
- Cool 15 minutes on wire rack.
- Serve warm or cold.

- Note: pat2me--Thinks it could be put in a greaded casserole dish in the oven.
- momo_55grandma--(Suggestion) Put the raisin bread in bottom of greased casserole dish whip rest of ingredients together pour over it bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees with lid on casserole.

Sounds good.....I don't know why it couldn't be done in a greased casserole dish in the oven.
