How to make it

  • in a 4 quart covered pot broil meat with salt, 2 whole ribs celery,whole onion,and whole potato very slowly for 3 hours or longer,take soup meat from pot and remove meat from bone, chop to bite size and discard bone and fat. mash the well cooked onion,potato,and celery thru strainer. return these and meat to liquid. add tomatoes and other veggies, cooking until veggies are well med sized can of cooked veggies may be used in place of fresh veggies. a small amount of macaroni may be broken into soup during the last 20 minutes of cooking serves 1
