This recipe uses Grape Jelly and chili sauce.

Ingredients
  • 4 lbs lean Ground Beef
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1 medium onion grated
  • 12oz bottle chili sauce
  • 12oz jar grape jelly
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt dash

Directions
  1. Blend together meat,egg,onion,salt.
  2. form into medium size meatballs. (I take a bowl of warm water beside me to dip my fingers in to loosen the beef from my hand s in between forming)
  3. cook on a baking pan until well browned.
  4. drain off extra fat.
  5. Combine chili sauce,jelly and lemon juice in a saute pan and stir occasionally while heating until you see bubbles.
  6. pour over meatballs and serve.
  7. Also make a great main course
