Ingredients
  • 1 quart of cold water
  • 8 oz fettucine or spaghetti noodles
  • 1 16oz jar alfredo sauce
  • 1 27oz can collard greens undrained ,or 16oz frozen chopped
  • grated parmesan
  • opt. 1 pouch smoked salmon sometimes as a treat

Directions
  1. Bring the water to a boil in a stainless steel pot.
  2. cook the noodles in the boiling water until tender.
  3. after noodles are cooked drain them in a colander placed into the sink.
  4. into the same steel pot combine the jar of sauce and the can of greens. Also, add smoked salmon if desired.
  5. heat through.
  6. dump the noodles into a large ceramic serving bowl and pour the sauce over the top.
  7. serve with grated parmesan.
