Chicken Stroganoff

- 4 bacon strips, diced shopping list
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/4-in. strips shopping list
- 1 med. onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 cans (4-oz.ea.) mushroom stems and piecesor sliced mushrooms, drained shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. paprika shopping list
- pepper, to taste shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- Hot cooked noodles shopping list
How to make it
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
- Drain, reserving 2 Tbsp. drippings; set bacon aside.
- In the drippings, cook the chicken, onion and mushrooms until the chicken is no longer pink.
- Add the broth, garlic, salt, paprika, pepper and bacon.
- Cook and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the flour and sour cream until smoothj; add to the skillet.
- Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Serve over noodles
