Ingredients
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 14 dates cut into small pieces
  • 14 soda crackers crushed fine
  • 1 c. ground nuts

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Beat egg whites stiff.
  3. Add sugar slowly; beating continuously.
  4. Fold in dates, crackers, nuts and vanilla.
  5. Pour into buttered 9 inch pie pan.
  6. Bake 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
