Ingredients
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 2 Tbsps. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions
- Mix flour, sugar and salt, gradually add with milk, bring to boil, mix with egg yolks and cook until thick.

- The writer does not say when to add the butter or vanilla. I would think after you take it off the burner from cooking it.
