Chilli pork spareribs

- 1kg/ 2lb lean pork ribs shopping list
- For the marinade shopping list
- 2.5cm/ 1'' fresh root ginger grated shopping list
- 2 garlic gloves crushed shopping list
- 4 tblsp clear honey shopping list
- 4 tblsp white wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tblsp light soy sauce shopping list
- 2 tblsp dry sherry shopping list
- 1 x 142g /5oz can tomato puree shopping list
- 1 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- 1 or 2 dried red chillis ( depending on taste) cut up small inc seeds shopping list
- 2 tbl shopping list
How to make it
- combine all marinade ingredients and mix well
- cut spareribs into bitsize peices
- place ribs in roasting dish
- cover with marinade
- if time allows, set aside for 1 hour
- cook at 160 degrees for 45 - 60 mins basting every 15 mins and turning half way through.
- Turn off oven and rest 15 mins
- enjoy.
- serve with lemon finger dip and napkins
