Chilli Pork Spareribs Recipe
Really easy, make the marinade, set aside, and put in oven. tender honey chilli ribs, better than any takeaway! use as starter or main course!

Ingredients
  • 1kg/ 2lb lean pork ribs
  • For the marinade
  • 2.5cm/ 1'' fresh root ginger grated
  • 2 garlic gloves crushed
  • 4 tblsp clear honey
  • 4 tblsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tblsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tblsp dry sherry
  • 1 x 142g /5oz can tomato puree
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 or 2 dried red chillis ( depending on taste) cut up small inc seeds
  • 2 tbl

Directions
  1. combine all marinade ingredients and mix well
  2. cut spareribs into bitsize peices
  3. place ribs in roasting dish
  4. cover with marinade
  5. if time allows, set aside for 1 hour
  6. cook at 160 degrees for 45 - 60 mins basting every 15 mins and turning half way through.
  7. Turn off oven and rest 15 mins
  8. enjoy.
  9. serve with lemon finger dip and napkins
