How to make it

  • Crush all dry fruits (ingredient - 6) coarsely.
  • Soak pistachios is a half cup water for twenty minutes. Then peel its skin off and grind it very finely with dry cashews.
  • In a deep pan, put sugar and pour water till all sugar sinks. Put the ground pistachios and cardomom powder and bring it to boil.
  • Stir continuously, so that no lumps are formed. Don't let the mixture to stick to its sides.
  • Once the mixture thickens tight, bring it down from heat and make small discs out of them.
  • Once again, boil water and 3 tbsps sugar. When it thickens, add crushed dry-fruits and saffron. Keep aside till it cools.
  • Now, in between two pista-cashew discs keep the dry-fruit mixture and refrigerate.
