Prawn and tomato starter

- 1 medium sized tomato per person shopping list
- Sufficient prawns (called shrimps in the USA) shopping list
- Sufficient white sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Clean and grill the prawns in lemon butter.
- Cut the top 1/3 off the tomato and scoop the pulp out.(Keep the pulp and the top third in the freezer to use in soups or stews.)
- Make the white sauce, but please add a little dry white wine to it.
- Add the prawns to the white sauce, reserving 1 prawn per serving.
- Fill the tomatoes wit h the prawns in white sauce.
- Hook 1 prawn over the edge of each tomato.
- heat under the grill for about 30 seconds. Just enough to heat the tomato, but not long enough to blacken the prawns.
