Milk Pie

- Pie Crust: shopping list
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 1 3/4 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 tbsp vinegar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 5 tbsp flour shopping list
- 5 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup cream (or milk) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix all crust ingredients.
- Roll flat and lay in pie tin, cutting excess dough off sides.
- Mix all remaining ingredients together, and pour into pie crust.
- Bake uncovered for 35 minutes, or until milk makes a lite film on top of the pie.
- Let cool, before serving.
- When you slice there will be some milk left inside, that is normal.
