Peaches in whine

- 4 big peaches in halves ( or 8 halves out of a can) ( I prefer much more the fresh). shopping list
- 7 1/2 dl red whine. shopping list
- 60 gr honey. shopping list
- 1/2 dl lemon brandy. shopping list
- 30 gr butter. shopping list
- 1 ts ground cinnamon. shopping list
- 1/4 ts ground clove. shopping list
- 1/4 ts ground ginger. shopping list
How to make it
- Peel the peaches or drain the canned ones, I prefer the peaches unpeeled, then brush them with a soft brush and cut in halves.
- Put the 8 halves in a cooking pan and add all other ingredients, bring to a boil and cook on low heat for 15 min, if using canned 5 min will do.
- Put peaches in a bowl and let the whine mixture cook on high heat, till left half or thickened.
- Put the whine syrup over the peaches and serve warm or cold.
- Very tasty with ice cream
