Easy dish thats quick to make and disappears fast at picnics.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1T. vinegar
  • 1 head broccoli-cut into bite size florets
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 12 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled OR 1 pkg. REAL bacon crumbles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. In bowl mix sugar, miracle whip and vinegar.
  2. Whisk until combined well.
  3. Refrigerate dressing overnight.
  4. Next day-
  5. Combine broccoli, onion, bacon and cheese.
  6. Add dressing and mix well.

Oh wonderful! My mom has a friend who used to make a really great broccoli salad, but she can't make it anymore due to illness/advanced age. This recipe sounds almost exactly the same - I am so thankful you posted it!!^^^^5!!
