Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
This started as an experiment and now people ask for my chicken noodle soup all the time! Just have lots of tuppers on hand if you're not feeding an army!! :o)

Ingredients
  • 4-5 drumsticks and thighs, already cooked (I used leftovers)
  • 1 large can of low sodium chicken broth
  • 10 cups water
  • 2 bags frozen "stew" vegetables (carrots, potatoes, celery & onions)
  • 1 pound pasta of your choice (I use ditalini)
  • parsley
  • ground sage
  • dried rosemary
  • dried thyme
  • garlic powder
  • black pepper

Directions
  1. combine chicken broth and water in a large (and I mean LARGE!) pot over low heat
  2. shred chicken into liquid
  3. add frozen vegetables
  4. add seasonings to your taste
  5. keep flame at low to medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally (this will take a while)
  6. once the soup has boiled, add pasta and allow it to soften
  7. serve hot
  8. put any leftovers into tuppers and refrigerate or freeze immediately
