Creamy Yellow Squash Casserole Recipe
I have to give credit to my mother's friend Clara. This is one of her recipes and she served it often. We love her and hopefully you will too.

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds yellow squash sliced
  • 2 medium white onions chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1-1/2 pints sour cream
  • 1 package stuffing mix
  • 1 stick butter

Directions
  1. Boil squash and onions together with salt until tender in water to cover.
  2. While vegetables are boiling mix together soup and sour cream.
  3. Drain vegetables and gently fold them into mixture then spread in rectangular pan.
  4. Melt butter in a medium bowl then blend with the stuffing.
  5. Top squash mixture with stuffing and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
