How to make it

  • Trim fat from flank steak then cut both sides of beef into diamond pattern 1/8” deep.
  • Place in shallow glass or plastic dish then mix remaining ingredients and pour over beef.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours turning occasionally.
  • Set oven control to broil then spray broiler pan rack with cooking spray.
  • Remove beef from marinade and reserve marinade then place beef on rack in broiler pan.
  • Broil with top 3” from heat 14 minutes turning once and brushing frequently with marinade.
  • Cut diagonally into thin slices after allowing to rest 5 minutes.
