Lemony Gingered Flank Steak Recipe
Another tried and true delight that comes from my catering partner. He came up with the recipe a few years ago on a fluke and served it on a crowd, who all gave it a high 5. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger root
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed

Directions
  1. Trim fat from flank steak then cut both sides of beef into diamond pattern 1/8” deep.
  2. Place in shallow glass or plastic dish then mix remaining ingredients and pour over beef.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours turning occasionally.
  4. Set oven control to broil then spray broiler pan rack with cooking spray.
  5. Remove beef from marinade and reserve marinade then place beef on rack in broiler pan.
  6. Broil with top 3” from heat 14 minutes turning once and brushing frequently with marinade.
  7. Cut diagonally into thin slices after allowing to rest 5 minutes.
