How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Place bacon in a large deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly crisp. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • In the same skillet crumble ground beef and cook over medium high heat 2 minutes. Mix in onion and continue to saute until beef is browned and onion is golden.
  • Drain grease.
  • In a 4 quart casserole dish mix together bacon, beef, onion, beans, mustard, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Cover dish and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes until bubbly.
